We started this blog in the summer of 2009 as a way to document the many changes we were making to our first home, Our Dream Foreclosure. Since then, we’ve started a family, had some ups and downs, and the blog has evolved to include more about who we are – as well as great DIY ideas. We love sharing our lives with you and hope you enjoy reading what we have to say! Please leave comments/questions – we try to respond ASAP to all of them.
About the house: Before we arrived, our (2,600 square foot, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom) dream had some sleepless nights – with the aesthetic charm to prove it. We’re first time homebuyers who were blessed to score a great deal on a fabulous foreclosed house in the neighborhood of our dreams. We’ve never done the DIY home improvement thing before. We’re creative and handy. We’re tackling one project at a time. Never paying full price.
